La exposición “Tinta, sangre y vino” conmemora el 55 aniversario de la visita del escritor norteamericano Ernest Hemingway a Bodegas Paternina, en las localidades riojanas de Ollauri y Haro, en septiembre de 1956. Durante aquellos días, el escritor disfrutó en la Rioja de sus mayores pasiones: el vino, los toros, los amigos, la fiesta… La visita quedó inmortalizada en unas magníficas instantáneas que nos muestran a un Hemingway en estado puro. A partir de su estancia en tierras riojanas, esta muestra se acerca a la vida y la obra de un hombre que escribió lo que vivió, recibió el premio Nobel, amó España y abrazó la muerte durante toda su vida.

The exhibition “Ink, blood and wine” commemorates the 55th anniversary of the visit by the American writer Ernest Hemingway to Bodegas Paternina, in the Riojan towns of Ollauri and Haro, in September 1956. During those days spent in La Rioja, the writer was able to enjoy his greatest passions: wine, bullfighting, friends and the fiesta… The visit was captured for posterity in these magnificent photos in which we can see Hemingway "in the raw". Through the time he spent in the lands of La Rioja, this exhibition shows us the life and work of man who wrote what he lived, received the Nobel Prize for Literature, loved Spain and embraced death throughout his life.

Paternina edita el libro "Tinta, sangre y vino: I Concurso de Relato Corto de Paternina", que recoge los relatos ganadores de concurso junto a los otros nueve finalistas. Además incluye un relato inédito del escritor Paul Pen, una introducción a cargo de la Directora de Enoturismo de Bodegas Paternina Noemí González y un exhaustivo epílogo donde se analiza la figura de Hemingway por parte de su biógrafo Andrés Arenas.
